Damn, two accidents that close together?? Ouch. Hope the adjuster doesn't try to screw you over or something stupid.

Someone could be subliminally telling you to do the SAS though... you never know ;)

I wanna do a SAS, SOA but this isn't gonna help out with that. Both accidents were to the rear of the truck. I'll be happy just to have my truck back on the road and fixed.

I finally got the insurance check today so I was able to get my Trac back. They swapped the entire rearend assembly from a '99 or '01 Explorer, it had 10k miles on it. They swapped the ring and pinion, brake setup and swaybar from mine onto the Ex rear. I still need to swap out the shackles (going with add a leaf setup). I'll probably sell the extra set I have.

The steel rear bumper project is being pushed back alittle while, funds were diverted to pay the deductable for this.

Oh yeah, I still need to realign the bed from the accident last month. Feels different sitting higher then everyone else again, I've been driving Carol's stock '97 Mounty (the top of my Trac's bed is the same height as the roof on her Mounty).

That's good news! I bet you're glad to put this one behind you.

Hey rebel any new status with your truck?

Yeah, it's got a rear axle assembly from a '99 or '01 Explorer that had 10k miles on it. They swapped out the ring and pinion from mine because mine has 4.10's and the Ex had 3.73's. Swapped out my brake setup and sway bar onto the Ex assembly. Got it home and put the back bumper, cover and hitch back on to find out after some measuring the frame where the upper shackle bushing is, it's tweaked.

Luckily my neighbor/ landlord is a frame/ body guy/ mechanic so I just have to take it next door and put it on his frame rack to straighten it out real quick. Got the new wheel in and had the tire swapped over to it.

Glad to know it's road worthy again. Sucks about the frame, though.

Good to hear it's getting somewhat back to normal.

Feels different driving it after driving Carol's Mountaineer for two months. The top of the bed on my Trac is the same height as the roof on her Mounty so you can imagine going from one to another. Lol.

That must be weird, lol.

When I go from my wife's jeep to my x, it's like I'm sitting on the jeeps dash, which is odd, and that just every other day. Glad your driving around again!
