OK, I took the cap off the reservoir, removed the black 'condom' (heheheh), then went under the car. I can see where the line connects to the trans as well as the bleeder screw.

The screw has a hole in it just like the brakes. I opened the bleeder and I can hear fluid running...but I don't see any. I let the reservoir drop to about half then closed the bleeder. No fluid ever hit my drain pan on the ground....

Whats going on? Do I need to disconnect the line on the trans? I'm just trying to drain all the old fluid and refill with new. Help!!!

OK, I read through the procedure on this site and it looks like I need to disconnect the line to the trans.

I tried all my a/c fuel line disconnect tools...but none of them work.

Does anyone know what tool I need to disconnect this?

you don't "have" to disconnect the line.

best thing for this job is a vaccum pump, about $25 at AutoZone, almost twice that price at Pep Boys, some shops rent them.

the tool to disconnect the line has two prongs, or fingers that slip under the white collar on the tranny end of the line... about $5 at the local parts store.

if you clean everything well, you might be able to pull the collar by hand.

hmmm, i forget it you actually have to push or pull the collar while pulling on the line.
