1997? You're in the wrong section.

Owners manuals are available for free online here:

Have you tried your hazard lights?

If it's not a fuse most likely your flasher unit has gone bad.

I know this fits the 3rd gen.

That one is compatible with both incandescent and LED's should you decide t upgrade to LED's in the future.

oops......its a 2005 ex.....just i didnt update my profile.

thanks ill download a manuel, and no i didnt try hazards

2004 here, Mine just recently started to stop flashing intermediately. Light will just stay lit up but sometimes won't flash. Haven't looked into but I'm assuming there isn't a flasher and it's probably located in the body control module???

Motorcraft SF633 is the proper exact replacement. RockAuto has it for $17.74 and OReily's has it for $24.99.

The LED compatible one I had posted a few posts back will not let you know when a bulb is burned out. Best to go OEM unless you are actually planning to install LED's.

started working again..... i hit the hazards on and off then it started working again.... ????

thanks for info

Turn signal relay. The hazard probably loosened it up.

Thanks for the info. Good to know it's still a separate replaceable part. Since I posted about the turn signal it has been working since...
