Hoping someone can help me.... My ac/heater stopped blowing air one day. Actually, it was intermittent for a few weeks before completely going out. First, I pulled the blower motor and ran it directly to the battery and it spun. So, at the advice of searching on this forum, I replaced the Resistor. Still didn't work. Next, I replaced the fan speed switch - and still no dice. Wondering if it is indeed the motor, and I just got lucky when I hard wired it to the battery?!?!

Any advice would be appreciated!

fuses and blower motor relay

Check fuse 2 (7.5 amps) in the central junction box and fuse 2 (40 amps) in the battery junction box. The blower motor relay is located in the battery junction box. It could be faulty. You can try swapping it with the starter motor relay to see if it runs with the ignition On. There's also a high speed blower relay in the auxiliary relay box #1.

Thanks Dale! I'll try the relay swap after work. I hadn't tried that cuz I was led to believe there wasn't any relays that controlled the blower motor.
Thanks again!
