Blower motor is working intermittently.

The blower fan works intermittently on my '94 Explorer, sometimes it will turn on right away but sometimes (and usually) it could take several minutes to finally start working.When it turns on, it works fine I can turn it on and off with no problems. Does anyone know the cause and is it a relativly easy fix?

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the stock 91-94 section. Clean the connection on the blower motor plug. If this doesn't help, then replace the blower motor. I have a similar issue with the blower motor on my 88 van. It's been like this since 1992. The plug has to be pulled out every now, and then. Clean the contacts with contact cleaner, then apply an anti-oxidant.

Blower motor resistor? I changed mine hoping that fixed it but nope. I'll have to try Brooklyn's idea myself.
