have a 2004 explorer sport trac with a 4.0 L v6 engine. The ac/heater blower motor is not operating correctly. The motor does not come on when switched on. It may come on after 1-2 hours and stay on for 30 minutes and then go off. Sounds like the blower motor is worn out. Does anyone have dorections on how to remove the blower motor.

The motor comes out with the fan attached forward into the engine bay. You'll have to remove the reservoirs and the cruise control module to do so. Disconnect the wiring and remove the four screws and you should have it in your hands. Try and get one with the fan attached or a new fan to as they can be stubborn to remove.
