Fuse keeps blowing, just throwing this out too see if there is a common reason for this or if I have to just start looking.

Never hurts to look?

I can't tell from your description if it is the vehicle interior lights fuse in the fuse box that is blowing or if it is the radios memory power wire inline fuse that blows.

If it is the lights fuse in the fuse box then you tied the radio ground into the light circuit mistaking it for a ground. (it reads resistance like a ground because of the bulbs but blows the fuse when the lights are turned on because it grounds the light circuit through the radio and the antenna shielding)

The memory wire fuse should only blow if there is a short.
