Well my bright son, let the 93 X overheat. The heater hose broke and he kept on going. So now it looks like the head gasket is blown. A lot of white smoke out the exhaust.

Questions:
How much to have someone fix?
Should I get it fixed? 120,000 miles but nothing was wrong until this.
Any reccomendations of where to get it done in Monmouth county New Jersey?

Did the motor have any lifter tick? You may want to have the heads rebuilt while you are at it if there was. I'd say your looking at at least $650. Most likely more.

how is your fluids? lots of coolant in your oil? it may not be worth messing with the engine, though you should at least pull it and tear it apart..

make sure you have not warped or cracked a head.

good luck with it.

I think I'm just going to find another engine and have it put in.
