I can't get Blue Tooth to stream music from my phone through the stereo. The phone is connected and works fine for calls. Any suggestions?

Check the phone for all its Bluetooth settings,
you should find settings for phone hands free settings, media player,
storage device settings, BT security, BT pairing, BT sharing.

Check media player settings and see that its active and set as needed.
May need to set storage as well, usually the settings allow it to act as a storage disk for data only, no streaming, or media player drive which will allow streaming and media playlists to be controlled by a media player-like MFT or other software on a PC, etc.

Per the compatability list, my phone does not support blue tooth music. Thanks for your assistance.

I am using my Nokia 1020 for streaming music and what not on the Ford sync - 2014 Explorer.

Just dictate Sync to "Bluetooth Audio"; works like a charm.

I have a 920 and BT works great.. but I had to delete the profile and re-add it. Do it on both the car and phone. It will work great!

Mr. B, what phone are you using?

Bluetooth streaming works great on my Icon (929).

Nokia Lumina 928

That is so strange that it won't stream music. I can't imagine why that phone (an upscale WP in its day) would be missing a basic part of the bluetooth profile (which is what I assume the problem is)?
