For the record, I am not immune to all the oddball instances of the MFT behaving rather badly. I can listen to my IPhone on Bluetooth on an initial start up, but when I shut down, say to go into the packy store, the MFT goes haywire with the reconnect to the IPhone. May be the IPhone
I found a solution, although not ideal, and that is to turn off the Bluetooth music on the MFT settings and connect the phone via the USB port. This does have the advantage of also charging the phone, it's just a hassle to plug & Unplug. However, it seems to be working OK. So far, so good.
I am lucky as the MFT is the only problem that I have experienced with the Explorer. I will probably NOT upgrade the firmware when released so that I at least have something to post and complain about.
