Hello.

In the first time i am. My name is Fran and I'm Spanish, from Valencia in particular.

At last I decided to install a body lift (PA-883) in my'00 Explorer ;) , reading the instructions but there is one point that I do not understand :dunno:( sorry, my english is bad:rolleyes:), is the 44 point Bed support Spacers:

The kit spacers support the
bed where the bed cross channels rested on the
frame (near the wheel wells) before the bed was
lifted. Weld kit spacers onto frame in four locations
(two locations on short bed). A certified welder
should perform all welding.

Where is located it is located and what to do??;)?. Someone has a photo of what you have installed?. ;)

Thank you friends and receive a great greeting from Spain.

There is NO welding to be done for the body lift. Your kit was made for a Ranger. Ignore the welding instructions. Just loosen all body mounts (dont remove yet) and replace them with the new lift pucks and hardware ONE SIDE at a time. All the mounts are pretty easy except for 2 of them, the front mounts! Be prepared to spend some time with these 2 mounts! Use a large pipe wrench with a cheater bar if you have to cut the bolts off, it would not be uncommon.

Best of luck to you!

The current brushing have to remove or put the body directly over the brushings.
