I have purchased a body lift PA#853 for my 1996 Explorer 4X4. I need to know which bolts I can use from the kit and the sizes of the bolts I need to buy. I've searched and I am getting conflicting answers. Some say 120mm, some say 150mm. It's driving me nuts! So can yall help me out and tell me what I need to buy so that I can put this lift on without having to make 50 trips to the hardware store? Thanks for the help! :D

tell em about it, i went crazy. Pretty much the bolts in the 853 kit work absolutly fine. Before you put any bolts in or such...just ake the old bolts and put it up against the new bolt and add 3 inches. On the rear however, i advise you place 3 washers as spacers for those really long bolts, as the bolt begins to bottom out and tear up the threads.

3 washers on the very back two? That doesn't seem too bad. I already have front and rear bumper brackets fabbed up so I'm good there, I just needed to know about the bolts. I searched and searched. I came up with plenty of how-to's, but absolutely no info on bolts other than "some will fit, some won't." :shoot: :banghead: Thanks '97 V8! :D

I ended up using 4 7" bolts and 6 6" bolts.. They are M12x1.75 if I recall correctly
