I have done a search on this subject and I can't seem to find the answer: I have a '93 Explorer with a brush guard similar to the one Rock883 has, and I want to put either a 2" or 3" body lift on. Am I going to have any problems doing this with the brush guard on? Thanks

Bump

I will bump this back up so maybe Rock will see it. If I am correct he also has a three inch bodylift on his exploder so it can be done.

hi, i have personally installed a 3" body on my exp and as long as the brush guard is not conecting the body to the frame in any way shape or form you will be fine. it ends up being mutch easier to take the bumpers off anyway so you shouldn't have anything to fret about.

problem is that your brush guard might be attached to the frame and might look kind of funny and way too low after the body lift instalation. I had to cut, weld and modify mine after a body lift install. This might be the case here,,,,

Rock?????

Thanks for the info guys-my brush guard isn't attached to the frame in any way, so I should be fine. Thanks a lot!
