I don't own a sport trac yet. However I am interested in getting a sport trac. I would like to fit 285/75R16 tires. Would the body lift be sufficent? How easy is it to install a body lift on this vehicle? Would I need to change shocks if I do a body lift? Is there anything else I might need or need to know doing a body lift? Thank you all in advance.

A body lift would be enough, although people have fit that size tire by just turning up the torsion bars and using wheel spacers. Bodylift does not change the shocks, it only lifts the body from the frame. If you do not have at least above average mechanical skills and access to a torch if you live in the rust belt, then I'd advise having a body shop do it.
If the Trac you buy has tow hooks on the front, they will have to go if you put on a body lift.

that is right, no welding, all bolt on , ,

just the bolts may be rusty and heat is usually needed to get them apart, only reason for a torch,

cant you reweld the brackets on?
