i think all rangers and explorers have the 5x4.5 in bolt pattern, am i correct?

yeah but make sure that if you add rims and tires that the wheels can fit over the 1/2 inch studs, ford made them larger and i had a big problem with putting 22's on my X b/c the new explorers have a 14mm stud,
