1993 Explorer XLT
Ive just recently pulled my moldings off my 93 XLT to give it a cleaner look. And it looks great, but now I wont to remove the explorer and Ford emblems on the back tail gate. I know there is two pins that hold them on and when taking them off it will leave holes. But I dont know how should I fill them? I was thinking using some bondo and going through the whole process? What do you guys think I should do?:fire:

Weld It

The best way to fill them is to weld up the holes and grind them lightly so that there are no bumps above the surface. Then you will be able to put a very thin layer of bondo to fill any slight dimples or micro holes. Hope this helps.

Don't bondo any whole larger than 1/8", otherwise you have a good chance of it cracking. Especially on the rear hatch, with the force of closing the hatch it will flex a lot and likely crack. Best way is gonna be to weld them up.
