boost gauge install/shift kit

I have a boost gauge to install on my 2000 5.0L with a powerdyne supercharger kit. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on which vacuum line I should cut into? I was thinking of cutting a t-fitting into one of the lines under the intake manifold.

Also, I would like to buy a shift kit for my truck. Does anyone have any suggestions on what kit to buy? Internal? External?

You will have to remove the valve body inside the transmission pan, which means yes this is an internal part.
