borg warner 1356

I was able to get my hands on a borg warner 1356 t-case for free and did some searching to find if anyone did this swap , and wasn't really able to find much about the 1356 and what was required (ie adapter for tranny) and if anyone who did this was happy/ dissatisfied with the swap afterward. id like to use this case for obvious reasons so if anyone could point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

What drivetrain are you running now?

i'm running the awd 5.0, and have most of my parts to complete the sas with front and rear coilovers, 3link front and a 4link rear, i'm just not completely sure about what t-case i will run.

bw4406 out a newer f150 not sure of the years 97 and up maybe

will the 1356 not work or is it one of the t-cases that needs and adaptor?

thanks for the replies,if the frame requires notching that really won't be a big problem. I've read about notching on another thread, i'm just unsure how much is needed.
