ok, I want to order the Borla today, would like to know if anyone could tell me exactly who/where they ordered it from. I live in Pennsylvania and would like to order from the closest place possible, ya know, to avoid those crazy shipping charges! Any info would be great!...Thanks, Dave

I ordered from a place called holcomb motorsports, they're listed in the dealers on the ford racing page. They are located in North Carolina and I live in PA. The shipping was only 15 bucks and they gave me the $165.00 price.

go back to the 1st page on this thread and click the link to fordracing.com (I think)...they have a section for 'good deals' you can get the part number from that ...then click on 'where to buy' and start calling...don't be surprised if a) they are 'sold out' and b) when you call the distributor, they have no clue on what you are talking about...but I found that because they are listed on fordracing web site they will probably have to call them. If need be UPS shipping shouldn't be that much.

Ordered mine today!!!

Well, I ordered my borla cat-back today from McCarville Ford in Centereach, NY. Total was $185.00 with s/h. Rich at McCarville said I should have it by the 21st. I also got the skinny from him about why Ford Racing is giving such a great deal (not that I mind!), he said that Ford Motorsports is discontinuing all Borla products due to the fact they just were not selling enough of them...I bet they are now!!! Just thought everyone would like to know, and I hope this helps anyone who is doubting the GRRRREAT deal! Can't wait to get it and put it on!!! BTW...anyone put one on a '95 XLT (4dr), is it all pretty easy and all bolt off/on (I haven't got under there to look yet).

I just got screwed. The first place I tried to order form said they couldn't get it after I waited 2 weeks. I then ordered it from Summit. It was on back order. I talked with Ford Racing and thet said they had a few left. I called Summit back to stress this and to make sure I would receive one. "No problem, we ordered a few extra and Ford Racing will get our order immediately." So 2 weeks later I call to check on it, the order was cancelled last week because they couldn't get them. I'm glad they took the time to tell me. I'm pissed because I'm sure they are all gone and Summit assured me that I would get mine. This sucks.

Borla told me they had plenty of them left......try Holcomb Motor Sports as mentioned earlier in the thread, they're getting used to ordering them by now.

You guys that ordered these for Sports, do you have SOHC or OHV? Is there a difference? I have an OHV...what will work and does anyhave this setup on their Sport? Thanks!

My 1997 Sport has the OHV engine. I ordered the 95-96 borla 2 door kit and it installed perfectly. You do have to move the rear exhaust hanger mount to another hole in the frame but the hole is already there. I'm sure it will fit your 1998 IF its OHV. SOHC wont work.

Holcomb called me today to tell me that they could not get them now. That is 3 different places now that told me they could get one but then cam back and said they couldn't. How the hell did I get screwed so bad on this deal when everybody else had no problem. How frustrating and no exhaust.

Try RaceParts Distrib. in Cornelius,NC. at (704)892-8688 and ask for Glenn. He did say that Ford Racing didn't have many left, but after the initial hassle, he called Ford Racing and verified part #, in stock, and delivery.
