Would these fit out the back as duals even with the spare tire under there?

I installed a Borla Cat Back system on my 95 sport in half an hour with a couple adjustable wrenches and a friend who was too drunk to say no to helping me. It was too easy. I have a (under bumper) frame hitch and left the spare alone. It all fit perfectly! I love the way it sounds and I feel like it made a performance impact. Looks cool too! I hadn't thought of headers yet...but thanks. My truck has (looks like) 2 Cats in a row! I'm looking to solve that next.

How loud is the borla exhaust? How does it compare to the Gibson exhaust? Does anyone have an opinion? I am looking for one that is pretty loud. I love that sound!

to answer you ryan, yes you can run dual with the spare tire..i had it done to mine..it is quite a tight fit, but it can be done...guy said it was pretty challanging to do it, so dont be suprised if the guy says it cant be done when you ask him....

Absolutely DO NOT "hollow" your cat! The engine needs the back pressure from the cat in order for the O2 sensor read properly. On pre OBD-II (pre.'96) the two factory cats can be successfully replaced with a single aftermarket high flow cat (I use Flo-Tech). This will retain enough backpressure for the O2 sensor, while improving power significantly. This is not an option on the later model because of the O2 sensor between the two cats. It is not wise to use "shade tree" modifications when dealing with computer controlled cars. You might get away with it sometimes, but the negative results can be far more expensive repair than it would have cost to do it right the first time.
