On a side note what is the difference between a FM 50 SUV and a regualr FM 50?

I am almost done researching my choice of cat-back and I am wondering if any of you with the Gibson specifically have seen any gains in mpg?? I am almost sure to choose a Gibson SS side exit and if I can convince myself of potential or percieved gains in mpg... I just might order it sooner!! Thanks for any input, I also have the SOHC.

Power-usa.com is where I got mine. They were sugested personally by Gibson. And we were very happy with them. The S.S. was $345 with shipping. And I was going to install it myself, but didn't want to wait until spring so my local Tuffy shop do it for $50.
Hey, I noticed you were looking at the red Ford emblems. Ever find any at a reasonable price?

Nope, I tried to get BBQ to lower the price on the set, but he was pretty firm. I think i'm going to put the emblems on the backburner for now, and get some other things done I.E. my brakes

would that work i searched ebay for gibson side swept and got only 8 findings tried adding ford explorer and got nothing, this says 4.0 at the end...so i'm assuming it's the right one? 265$ ain't bad is it?

Go here and get the correct one for a couple more bucks. That price is for the Aluminized, which is a good price. I have the s.s., a bit more, but I will never have to worry about it with a life time warrentee!!
But, really, I wouldn't mess around going anywhere else.

Oh, you are right for the price he wants for a set of emblems, I was able to get the s.s. exhaust!! Money much better spent!!

yea, i found a guy on ebay who sells embelm overylays...in red black yellow and some other colors for like 12 bucks a set...i might just get those

Yep, I found that guy also (emblems) and I am going to order some today. He sent me samples and they seem pretty nice.
That sounds like the right one. Make sure its the SOHC, if thats what you have. And, give them a call if your not sure, they are very helpful.
The SS has the lifetime warentee and is more money. Other then that I think the same.

Toreador Red and they should be here any day now.
I had done the "paint your own emblem" mod last winter. They turned out o.k. Kinda messed one up but they looked better then the blue. Well, the glue I used wasnt that good, I blew one off in a car wash and the other started coming off. So, I had to get new emblems, and I dont want to f these ones up. So, thats why I am doing the overlay deal.
I will let you know how they look.
