Bouncy Bounce tooo much

I have Monroe Reflexs and they seem perfect. They control the bounce without being to harsh on the bumps. The price is also much better than the Edleborcks or Bilsteins. IMHO.

i have moroe reflex too and i think they are great. i dont know what shocks were on there before i had these put on, but the reflex shocks are much better.

My XLT has the original Ford shocks! At 119k they don't really do much other then help hold everything together. :D

could also be broken sway bar brackets. i broke all 4 of mine and when ever i hit a bump i felt like i was on a boat

what mileage to replace shocks?

how many miles till one should replace the stock shocks? I have 135K on my 95, and it bounces and takes holes quite hard.

Well, there is no set milage, but running on ford stock shocks I'd say 75,000 miles is when they would generally need replacement. maybe 100,000. i would say you would notice a improvement in handling if you get new shocks. If you want cheap ones, i have a set for sale that were used for 10,000 miles.

at 135k i had replaced mine about 4 times... but i am **** when it comes to shocks.
