Brake fade

Recently having the brake pedal get soft and having much longer stopping distances. My guess is, master cylinder?

Could very well be the master cylinder, but I would check all four corners, and the brake lines for leaks just in case.

If it isn't components like a hose or master cylinder, replace the brake fluid and bleed all 4 wheels. You need to flush all of the old stuff out as it gets contaminated with dirt/rust/water and loses its ability to hold pressure. I replaced all my pads & rotors and had no increase in performance until I did this.
