I am hving an issue with the brake fluid. I have a severe leak. Thought it was a rusted line. Turns out to be some type of rubber hose with a white plastic cap on the end. Almost looks like a vented cap. I cannot follow it all the way back to its origin. The black hose just sort of ends and is located sort of under the steering column below the frame where the column boot is. Feels like this hose was crimped and maybe the crimp rusted off. I have never seen such a thing and cannot see it on any diagrams to buy/replace with a new one. Any clue of what this might be?

I actually figured it out, the rubber line appears to be a vent line for the transaxle. It was rubbing along the front brake line and must have pierced the line over the years. The peirced line was in spot that you could not see it, and when depressing the brake fluid was spraying along the rubber hose making it appear as if it was coming from it. I ordered brake lines from inline tubes and hope it is not too hard the swap out.
