Brake light switch?

Hi, Ive got a 2002 Explorer XLT, about a year ago the brake lights stopped working so I got on to Explorerforum and found that I needed to get a new brake light switch. I replaced my switch and the lights seemed to work fine after that. Fast forward about a year and they have stopped working again... So I went to Autozone last week and got a new Windstar stop light switch. I tested them and the lights would turn on and off like normal. That was last week and they are out again. I would really appreciate some input on this issue if anyone's experiencing the same thing.
