First post and new member. My brake light has began to remain lit. A few things to note: First, the brake fluid reservior is full. Second, I just had a break job on the front and rear breaks (new breaks on the rear) 6 months ago. They seem to be working great. Third, my parking break has not worked in years. Can anyone perhaps provide me with guidance on what to it might be and what to check out?

Could be the parking brake sensor. Disconnect the wire on the parking brake pedal mechanism and eliminate that as an issue.

Been a while, but I finally got around to disconnecting sensors. Turns out it is the brake fluid sensor on the reservior. Now wondering what I need to do to replace this sensor, the reservior or the entire master cylinder. Does anyone know?

It should just be the sensor if the sensor screws into the MC.

In conclusion, decided to leave it disconnected and not replace anything.
