Hi All,

After about 12K miles and 1 year, the Ex. now requires a set of pads on the front. I originally had fitted (front and rear) standard EBC pads and discs that I bought directly from EBC. The brakes have never let me down, but then again they haven't exactly been 'great' (always squeaky and a little lifeless in the cold). Now I accept that my experience isn't solely down to the brakes themselves but as its time to replace the pads, I wanted to canvass opinions on what brakes you guys are running, in particular if you are happy.

I am looking at Pagid pads from Euros (£33 after discount) - which I think is a fair price. Not sure where else to look for a set of decent pads; if anyone has any advice etc. then please shout up!

(Oh yes I will be doing my own pad change ;) )

Thanks for the suggestion; Defo. worth considering for next time. However today I popped into local Ford dealer and they had a set in stock for £33! Needless to say I snaffled that. Now just need to fit them as my current pads are down to about 3mm!

my ex is still running ford pads as of yet have never had a problem
