Totally normal. Your braking system is biased to the fronts.
You may want to invest in better pads for the front and stay away from the cheap autozone "duralast" brand and other poor quality brands.

If you use the search function, I am sure there is tons of information about better quality brakes/rotors.

Actually, that tells me that your rear brakes are not doing as much braking as they should be. On all four sets of brake pads I've put on my Explorer, and all three that have been on the F150, with the exception of a seized caliper slide pin on the first set of the F150, all the others have worn at VERY similar rates.

Because your fronts are wearing 4x as fast as the rears, I would be inclined to say that the rears aren't doing as much as they should.

i have never seen this either, they have always worn around the same time for me aswell, what would be causing the rears to not work??

Front brakes account for about 65-70 percent of your stopping power. Quite normal to wear them out first.

Might be the aforementioned slide pins if you have never replaced them. The calipers could be hanging up on them.
Theres a hardware kit sold for the rear calipers that includes them.
Buy it and install them, add a bit of grease inside of the rubber boots.

I have always had the fronts wear almost a 2 to 1 to the backs from day 1 with my truck. Thought that was quite normal.

the fronts will wear faster than the rears, but that seems a little too fast. super cheapo pads, and race/track type pads wear faster than others, idk what kind you have been using though. just a thought.

The fronts do wear faster because of the inertia your truck has while stopping and the weight shifts forward. That said your wearing them out to fast compared to the back so something isn't right. As suggested look into some better pads. Good Luck

thanks for everything everyone, i did just buy the cheap pads, the brand is "Jasper" from canadian tire, but they are the same brand on the back aswell
