Brake Rotor Diameter

Hello,

I am going to buy new front brake rotors for my 91 Explorer 4x4. There are two sizes they offer 57mm or 64mm in diameter which is 2.2 or 2.5 inches. The car has the towing package. What size is the standard rotor diameter (tall) size for the 91. Thanks for the help.

Well, it's hard to say exactly which size is on your truck, unless you know for sure if you have heavy duty brakes. Best bet would be to pull one and bring it in to match up to the new ones. If your truck is your only transportation, buy both sets and return the wrong ones when you're done. Just ask ahead to be sure the store is OK with that.
