Looking to upgrade the brakes on my Explorer. It is an 01 XLT 4.0. I would like to upgrade the front brakes with slightly larger rotors. I don't care about the cross drilled and slotted rotors as they are pointless unless on a car which is being tracked.
I thought I read somewhere I could use the steering knuckles from either a sport or sport trac and this would allow me to run the larger rotors. Any info on the years sport/sport trac would I be looking for the steering knuckles from? Also, what other parts would I need, well besides the obvious rotors for a sport/sport trac?
Pictures of the parts needed would also be appreciated if you have them
