Brake warning light on

Hey everyone! Ok while i was driving home from work last night i noticed my brake warning light come on in the dash where the door ajar light,ABS light etc. comes on.Ok i noticed that when i applied the brakes the light would go off but after i released the brakes it would come back on.What is the problem? Is it that i need brake fluid even though it seems full? i had new brakes put on about the end of March so i know i don't need brakes.

Check your brake fluid level first. The place that did your barkes my not have filled it correctly.

I checked my fluid level yesterday and it was low.Thanks for the input Dan...
