Brakes pulling to the right

Hi Guys

My Ex has now started to pull to the right when under heavy braking.

I changed the rear discs, pads and all brake lines a few weeks ago and it appeared OK then. But I've now noticed that it's not quite right.

Any ideas as to what can be causing it? Sticking caliper? Dodgy pads? And how do I find out which brake assembly is at fault?

Would this sitll be true? I thought if it pulled while under heavy breaking it was because a caliper NOT working properly.

What I mean is, if it's pulling to the write, then is the driver side caliper not behaving correctly? There fore the passenger side caliper is braking more then the left?

I understand if he was just driving and it was still pulling.

I could be completely wrong, just my two cents.

First things first, pull the tires off the front and check the calipers for un-even wear on the pads and for any oil surfaces on the caliper. Most times under heavy braking the ABS would kick in, how do I know? Lets just say heavy braking from 80 will do it :

Guys

When I said "braking hard" I mean when I slow down from, say, 70mph off a short motorway slip road. I haven't been braking hard enough for the ABS to kick in.

Fair point about grease on the discs/pads - I have replaced the front ball joints and thus have recently disassembled the front hubs. Perhaps I didn't clean the front discs well enough when I put things back together! I'll hunt down by brake cleaner spray and get to work.

Me and my neighbor have this saying, and it will be cleaned up for younger minds, but we say "brakes are for wussies". He used to have an Isuzu pickup that leaked so much brake fluid, when you were sitting still, you'd hit the brakes and then about 5 seconds later you'd start rolling because the fluid was so low.

Hi Kenny.
Just try bleeding the front left caliper again. Could still have a bit of air in it.
Make sure your front right tyre isn't low on pressure.
