it was my gas tank...i need 2 get it replaced...should i make him pay for that?

How can a gas tank go bad, other than leaking?

If you went through 3 pumps and still have the issue then you need to look at something else, relay perhaps (I should have known that, been around long enough!)

Alright well let me share with you how the mechanic tottaly ####ed me..haha well yeah the pump went out a total of 3 times, and then he "claims" that someone had put sand into my gas tank, he said my gas tank was half way full with sand...keep in mind that would be about 9 1/2 gallons of sand...it would weigh alot, dont you think he would of noticed that the first three times?...ALSO i got my truck back and my passenger fendor is dented and bent so my passenger door cannot open all of the way!...anyone think I should try any legal action with this?






and he didnt give me my gas back when he cleaned the tank!!...It was full of gas and then i got it back with under a quarter of a tank.

was this a brand name shop you went to or some little hole in the dirt place?

what was the excuse they offered ?

did they say they would fix the damage ?

did they show you the contents of the tank ?

if the answer is "no" to the above then i would MOST def take leagal action .

(btw: my father had a new chevy truck once and took it into the dealer to find a vibration on the front end ...so bad that at times it would shake the entire truck at high way speeds.had a full tank when he took it in .they had it 2 days and said that they could not find the problem (but strangelly the problem never happened again after they looked at it ....they found the problem and fixed it and lied) but they did not replace the 30+ gallons of gas they burned out .went to drop him off and and he said "oh well they burned up my gas" i was like no go in there and tell them to fill it back up ... bill heard chevrolet is a scam artist...look it up on the net sometime ...there now out of buisiness because they are being sued plus they screwed me on my colorado by takeing out some fluid in the 5 speed and the rear differential )

If I got my walked out to my truck after it was supposed to be fixed and it was dented in any way, I would be walking right back in that place and asking them what the hell happened.

Plus the fact you've gone through three pumps is just ridiculous. You need to go back there NOW and ask them what the hell is going on. I would also show them the damage they caused and mention the gas they burned and demand that it and whatever was wrong with the truck be fixed for free. If they don't budge, sue their ***** out of business.
