My daughter wrecked the front of her 98 Ford Explorer. She's not been able to get deductible together to get it fixed. The wreck broke both her front headlight lens, so when it rains the bulbs blow. We have replaced and replaced, using clear duck tape to try and protect them, but it just doesn't last long especially when raining. Any other ideas to help us protect the new bulbs till she can get it fixed? Is there water proof tape out there, can we cover with heavy duty plastic? Thanks.

Charlie, thank you for your response. Yes, it would be better to replace but my concern about that is they might not fit properly due to the damage. But I think it's worth a shot. Have a friend who is willing to go to a new place in Cincy called U-pull-&-pay to replace the whole front grill and bumper for her. That is as long as they have her year and model or another that will work on hers. Thanks also for the ebay websites.
