Broken spark plug.

A big Oooops! I broke off the second from front spark plug on the right bank of my '98 Eddie Bauer. It is flush with the block. Both it and the front plug are rusted in. Short of removing the head is there another way of extracting the bugger. The shock mounting is also in the way so I can't see an easy way to put in an EZ--Out. A simple 8 plug spark change gone bad. I have a good mechanic and don't mind surrendering if this is a big problem. I don't want a piece of ceramic in the cylinder. Car has 100K and I am sure these are original plugs.

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the under the hood section. You could try a bolt out socket if there is still part of a hex head on the plug.

I did the same thing with 3 of my plugs on my V8. An ez out does work with a big breaker bar.
