Ok here's the deal. My 93 FE has had a window guide break in both doors. These would be the guides from the left of the door if you were sitting in the drivers seat and right if you were sitting in the passanger seat. The place where the bolt was holding it in place just tore through. What can I do to resolve this issue? The guides are not broken the door has basically been ripped where the bolt was. Can I get it spot welded? Or are there any other suggestions. Any help would be most appriciated. Thanks in advance.

* I can get a pic if needed *

Well, I had this happen on my driver's door a couple of years ago. The fix was to reattach the guide using two sheet metal screws, where it had been welded. (This is a 97 and the welds didn't work any better) Its worked fine since then. And it has been through many door slamming.

Hope that helps.
