Yes, two right on the middle/main crossbar (the one just above the license plate in that pic)

I just went out and bought a welder and mask so slider, steel bumpers, skid plates and other goodies are coming soon. Oh ya baby. keep an eye out for build threads by springtime, early summer.

Luke, your'e describing something that Tiregate builds but not for the ST. Here's a link, you can use the design and just build your own to fit the ST.

When I was talking about something that can pin to the tailgate, that was when I was referring to the custom made doggie step that I want to be able to fold down for my Pooch to get in the back of my (future) lifted ST

Yeah, I may build them and sell them for the ST once I get better at welding. I plan on making/ selling sliders, bumpers, etc... maybe in a year or so. there's just not anybody out there that build stuff for our Trac's so I may try and fill that void.

I sure wish I would have taken some classes on welding, or got some hands on experience with my relatives who are avid welders.

Would be nice to make my own equipment!

Definitely is a big void! Go for it

Oh I was saying that I'd rather be working on my truck than doing homework. Gotta love engineering.

I'm gonna teach myself. I have alot of guys in my Custom Truck Club that I can get pointers from. Once I get this welder down I'll upgrade to a bigger one but I need to just get out there and play around with the welder. I can read all the books in the world but don't retain much of it without hands on working.

The first project will be fabricating some more stuff onto the tire carrier and make some lock open pin for the carrier. Then onto fixing the tow hook mounting brackets, they were ripped out of the frame pulling stumps. I was fine until I had my old landlord hook up to the last stump and he crossed the straps (DOPE !!!). Front to hitch and maybe hidden winch.

I was reading about brush guards and welding and suddenly got a craving for Dairy Queen. I think there was some unsolicited subliminal advertising. Anyone else catch it?

Edit: Oh! I get it, lol. That is a nice brush guard. [Headed to the tube bender now]

LOL, you're quick Hugh, LOL Now go get me a reeses pieces' blizzard, LOL.

I have my BL ordered now I have to plan out on how i want to make new brackets for my brush guard. I bought a Manik brush guard while back without the mounting brackets, the one problem is that the company is now gone. So I was unable to buy a new pair of brackets. so one afternoon I fabbed up a quick set. Not my best work but I knew they wouldnt be on the truck forever.

Now do you guys that have had to mod their brackets to fit for a BL, would it be easier to buy a pair of brackets from Westin and modify them? Or Should I just make up some new ones from scratch again? Im thinking I may just have some head aches going the Westin route, and im sure they want an arm and a leg for them.

I'd say make your own. You've done it once. Consider that practice and now go ahead and make a good stout set.
