Bug Guards

My bug guard shield broke a few months ago and I have been looking for a replacement. Problem is that local places are special order which means no return and internet sites just have generic pictures of bug guards on trucks and I want to make sure it wraps around like my old one and not just partially wraps around. My old guard wrapped around the front fenders and really made it strong. It was a "Profile +" brand but so far I have not found one to replace it.

What brand bug shield do you guys have on your 1st gens and does it wrap around the front of the fender? Feel free to post pictures and say where you got them if you can remember.

Here is my old one that broke, you can see how it wraps around.

I have an AVS one that wraps around, just isnt as tall on the upper lip and is a darker smoke acrylic, its for sale.. or trade. let me know if this is somethin youd want to do. you are kinda far away, but you should be able to order from from and parts store, its a common order item. Auto VentShade Bugflector II.

FourO, have any pictures of it installed? If it wasnt so big and prone to breaking by the careful handling of the UPS or FedEx employees I would consider it.

The AVS is the one my local places carry but the one for the Explorer has to be ordered.

I could go get it.. put it under the lip of the hood and take a pic. maybe i'll do that here after a while when it stops raining.

I've got a weather-tech one and it wraps around, not for sale because I like it but if you go to weathertech's website you could get one that will fit right.
