Once I discussed with a dealer (in Canada) and he told me it could take up to 6-8 weeks. Maybe it was just a blanket answer and arrives before that time.

The 6 - 8 week answer seems to be a fairly common one. Some arrive earlier and some later. Cory, the Ford online rep who monitors this forum may be able to give you more info. You can always send him a PM (Private Message) at FordCustSrvc. He will require the dealer's name and their dealer ordering number if you can get it and location (state, etc). I found that when I first joined up that my salesman was able to keep me up to date on my order. Once you have your VIN number you should be able to pull up your 'window sticker' which usually appears 4 - 5 days before the build date.
