I am building a spin on filter assembly for my 92 ex with the A4LD. I need some specs in reference to the return line. What would be the max pressure I would see on the return line. Also what would be the max GPM I would see?

There are a few threads here for installing a secondary transmission filter on the transmission. Most people are just using an FL1A filter on a remote oil filter mount on the output line of the transmission as it heads to the radiator/cooler.

For hoses, you can get rubber trans lines or 300 psi hydraulic rubber hoses.

I am getting parts from a hydraulic parts store. I can get a filter head for $11.99CAD and then match it to a 10micron filter. There are 3 heads I am looking at 1-4gpm, 5gpm and 10gpm all in the same price range. I could build a kit with a 10 micron filter for $24CAD if I went with the cheapest head and filter.
