Here is the latest on my truck mods

I have painted my flares and front bumper

Now I am trying to figure out how I can get a 5.7 vortec with my vortech supercharger, should be about 450hp and 470tq.

Just got off the phone with MVA and they said it has to be the same year or newer motor. So my only choice is a 5.7 engine out of a 2001 cargo van if I want to keep my vortec supercharger, and I do!!!

That ought to do it. Nice truck!

Is that a tec2 screen on your comp screen? I think you have done a good job on this rig. Not a fan of the platform but you do have more creativity than many people out there

how's the whole setup work that you have all the vehicle information playing on the monitor? I got a buddy with a new duramax who is looking to do something similar.

if that is tec 2 then its a whole lot more than a monitor. And of course would cost a few grand

NICE! Wish my S-10 looked like that!

That is a pc running windows 2000 with touch screen and autotap for engine diagnostics.

 Well today I made a red light camera avoidance system.

Made a air cylinder out of a 6â€￾ piece of ¾ npt pipe, 5/16 x 8 bolt, 2 washers, 2 ¾ end caps and some rubber, then it fastens to a cable that ran to the license plate hinges. The switch runs to an air solenoid that activates the air cylinder.

Just hit the switch and the license plate slaps down on the bumper till you let off.

Doubles as a thanks sign when someone lets you over in traffic.

:D :D :D Maybe tomorrow I will go and test it out :D :D :D

That's AWESOME! Definitely one of my favorite parts of your truck. I always thought about trying something like that.

That is too cool. How much for a average person :) You need to sell that one.

HAHA! I would put one with a "bird" finger on there :D

HAHA! Thats wise man.

That's a hell of a lot of data to take in while driving! Reminds me of the scene in Airplane when the camera scrolls across the ****pit: Altitude, Airspeed, Wash, Rinse, Spin...

Clean looking truck!

last month on the way back from Harpers Ferry, WV about 3 miles outside of Harpers Ferry on US 340 I seen a tornado coming from the right and thought I could out run it. But it got close quick. Then I saw a bridge and pulled under it. About 15 seconds later it hit and all hell brook lose the truck came off the ground and moved over about a foot then the Tonneu Cover ripped off and the back window busted out and bent the bed up then a washing machine hit the hood. $2600.00
