Ok, a multi topic thread.

First, i've got a 94 four-door, with the 4" trailmaster kit with 6" skyjacker coils and leafs, with no anti-sway bars. How do i extend the parking brake? Do i have to replace it with a longer cable? As is, I cannot flex a lot...unless I want to rip the cable out.

On to the more important stuff...

Now that i have access to a mig and tig welder, a settling tank, a plasma cutter and all kinds of other good stuff, i'm going to build a few things. A front bumper with a mount for my winch, a rear bumper with a tire mount, and some rock sliders/rocker panel gaurds.

I'd love some input on the design of it all, the look of them as well as mounting/structural.

Same year Ranger brake cable. Long box or Supercab depending on how long you need. Pull yours first and compare at the shop before buying.

Good luck.

hey ryan i think i finally need to fix mine since i broke it btw i did extend my hydrualic brake line so i woudn't pull it apart also ....anothe thing i finally made some mounts that tie into the frame for my push bumper:D

Thanks tiessen, I'll do just that.

Clint, i liked your brushgaurd like that, it let you know how much you were flexing.

i think i'm going to use 1/4 thick steel, 2"x3" for the rock gaurds. same stuff, only 3/8 thick for the rear bumper. still now sure on the front.

here is a web page with info for tire carriers I found some good info on it Dead Link Removed when you build post some pics

Matt

ryan i still have the spring so that my body will seperate from the frame ...but i just made some brackets so it's directly to the frame btw what did the parent's think of the X when they saw it:D

thanks for the link Matt

Thanks for the link Matt(Rock Ranger) saved me some digging. Thjat page had all the info I was looking for. A tire carrier and rear bumper are my project for this fall... Soon as I pay for my transmission mods!!

that page IS a big help.
maybe i should concentrate on just one thing at a time here, instead of trying all at once. screw it, i'm multitalented

clint, i gave them fair warning. my brother got pissed though, the X out wheeled his 84toyota flatty (35s locked front and rear). he just doesnt know how to drive
