Burning oil... how much?

I just changed the oil in my 2007 Lincoln MKX and it is burning about 1/2 quart per 5000 miles. My question is, how much oil should an engine burn with 114,000 miles on it.

ford used to be 900 miles per quart. i think its lower now, 700 miles per quart. is still acceptably.

afik according the wsm, its 1500 miles to a quart....
