burnout...

the newer cars like the grand am gt 2001 will bog down because of engine sensors, my friend held the brake firm in drive and just punched it for awhile, the engine bogs down like robert says and hardly a squeal.

Dude your not going to flip over. It is important to turn your wheel to the right because if the explorer is like every other car the right rear is the drive wheel that recieves the power.

Now if you turn the wheel to the right and floor it that will cause your explorer to lighten up the load on the RIGHT REAR causing it to spin. You can continue driving in the circle doing a doughnut or you can hit the brake and if you have enough wheel spin it will continue to spin while your explorer is sittin in the same spot.

But yes if your a dumbass and hit a sidewalk or something while your turning YES you will flip over your ex and all the neighborhood girls you were trying to impress will be sitting there laughing their ***** off.

AWD cars are a differnt story with the burnouts. In that case you need a ****load of power and nobody is going to have that kind of power in an explorer. But as far as rear wheel drive. ANY rear wheel drive car that is running properly will smoke up doing the turning to the right technique unless it has some kind of traction control.

I have never had any problem smokin' em with my 93 X
the only one who had a problem was the local cop:)
Try turning the wheel a little one way or the other and stomp it when they start to spin really fast straighten it out slowly and apply some brake pressure to keep from taking off

uhh well when you are holding the brakes the fronts grab first and since a grand am is front wheel drive naturally that wont work!

Use the PARKING brake on front wheel drive cars!
