burnout!

While all 3 cars that I've had could do burnouts (FWD burnouts are rather interesting) it's too hard on the driveline to do all the time. That said, less grippy tires (aka cheapest tires on the planet) or hose the tires down with armorall or someother tire dressing, bleach, water, a V-8 swap, bigger gears, a decent tune up on the OHV 4.0 will do the trick as well

I can do a decent 4 foot scratch with my 95 with the 3.73 LS, my old '76 Chevelle with it's mediocre 305 and peg-legged 3.08 rear end would spin the right rear all day long. (rather entertaining with white wall tires and full wheel covers on a powder blue sedan)

Oh yeah my mom and I went offroading today on My 22's, I pulled a semi out of the mud. he was about 3 feet down in the mud. My 150 stock horsepower sure helped out a lot! Pulled him right out and mom told me to ask how I can recover more semi's that are offroading. Any ideas?

Never seen a semi offroading, the more torque you have the easier it'll be, though pulling a semi sounds like a one-time thing.

See what you guys tihnk of this litle fun in the snow. I have a better video or two other runs around my friends old grand am winter beater. Plus anothe rone of me just doing AWD on the spot donut spins, pretty sweet with 31 inch all terrains on.

First Off, Why Are You Trying To Burnout In An Explorer? They Are Not Made For That. If You Want To Burn Out Then Get A Sportscar. Although If You Do Want To Modify Your Engine To Get More Hp You Can. I Noticed Some Of The Guys Telling You To Be Careful About Your A4ld, But I Had Mine Specially Built By A Guy In Az, And I Have Not Had Any Problems Since. He Did Some Good Mods To It To Fix It Up. I Off-road My Explorer And Was Always Having Problems With The Trans Overheating, Then Slipping. This Guy That Fixed My Tranny Is A Genius. Now My Trans Doesn't Get Any Hotter Than 210-220 When I Am Pushing It As Hard As I Can. If Any Of You Guys Need To Get Your Trans Rebuilt, I Highly Recommend Him To You Guys.

I've got a similar guy in my part. It's a small shop but VERY reputable. Haven't heard anything bad. He tells you exactly what's going on and shows what to watch out for. When (if ... NAH) I need a rebuild I'm going there.

Looked like that light pole in the right side of the screen was calling your name :D

Your stock OHV v6 wont burn the tires worth a ****. You should probably of went with the SOHC if u wanted to do that but If u really insist buy a linelock kit and get it installed. This works by keeping the front brakes locked and releasing the rear but this is only good for about a minute since it is coil activated. Your going to absolutely rape that transfer case if u do to much burning out.. Just to let you know you will ruin that explorer.

You can ask him if he did, in fact, ruin that Explorer since he has had 4 years to do it since starting this thread.
