Would this cause no forward engagement in all forward gears? or should I be looking for something else.

Sorry the picture is not working, its not working on the other thread either.

If the clutches in the forward drum are burnt it can cause not forward movement.

I think I fixed the pic, it's the same one from my other thread. I went ahead and got a master rebuild kit from Makco, along with 2 new bands and both servo pistons. I also purchased a center support sleeve and Superior shift correction kit from Transmission technologies. I've already rebuilt the VB with the transgo jr. kit, also an oversized pressure booster valve and manual sleeve index, new gaskets etc. The only thing is it's telling me to add a 5th check ball, which I don't have. I guess I can pull one out of the bad tranny that's installed in my truck now when I take it out. Hopefully all of this will do the trick. The only thing I was debating on is to get a thrust washer kit, all of mine seem to be in fairly good condition. I can post a couple pics and see what you think.

Definitely. ANother way to find out your clutches are burnt is to smell the fluid. If it stinks like burnt TF, the clutches are your problem. Also inspect the fluid if its dark that also means the clutcvhes.
