yea, im familiar with that truck(cgriffin or something right?). f*k it, i just bougth the pocket flares for the 93 + ranger. i will update here how they look.

Yeah, that's Fat Cat's truck.

Premier, I'm interested in seeing how these turn out for you. I've always liked the look of those fender flares.

yea, your right.. his old username was CG. i will keep the thread updated when i put them on. i got the front 2 for 209$ from 4wp.

i dont know what i will do with the back just yet, im going to see if the fronts(just swapped) will work on the back. if they will, i will order another pair. i wish i had a ranger i could look at and compare

That would explain why I haven't noticed CG around in a while...

yea hahaha

ok, and the reasoning behind ordering just the fronts.

as you can see the rear wheel arch of the ranger is the same(front of arch/back).

where the arch on the explorer is different(due to the bumper wrap around). thats why i think the front might work on the back of the X. i will just see.

i have had them for a while.. dont know if i want to put them on though. i will get some pics tomorrow. :)

here is what they would look like. they are kinda cool, but you might want a 13.5 wide tire, or at the last some spacers to put the tire out a little more.. that way its somewhat flush with the flare.

Not to intrude, but I'd like these for the 3rd gen. Not easy to find... The stock trim is weak. Similar to Fat Cat's would be ideal...

Premier, you don't mind the tires being within the flare coverage? It's not bad...

Edit: found them, EGR, at 4wheelparts.com. Thanks!

You ever get those flares and snorkel to fit? You got those pics again?

im new to this site and rlly like it but i have a 94 explorer and am gettin in trouble with the 50 for tire width. i'd like cut out's or extend a flares. i cant find anything but the poly urethane flares. anyone know if u can get ranger or jimmy or another kind of flare to make fit an x. any help would be appreciated
