I was driving down the road the other day and my vents started having a humming noise. I went to autozone and picked up a new blower motor and when I took mine out I realized that it was a reciept that had gotten stuck up inside my fan. Well while I was putting everything back together I busted my wheel. I figured no big deal it was just a small crack. Well Nope as soon as I turned the fan on it make a click click click CRUNCH as the fan tore itself apart. Now I CANNNOT find one at any of the parts stores online. Anyone have one please. And will it hurt anything to put the motor in without the fan and just not hook it up? Until I can get one. Thankfully it is still warm.

anyone have a clue? sorry for being impatient just concerned something is gonna tear up more.

It's most likely a dealer-only item, but you never know... Someplace like Grainger might have one that'll work (if you have the specs on it).

When I sold auto parts a decade ago, we used to be able to order a very minimal selection of them... They're also called 'squirrel cages' in some places... I believe 'wheel' is the proper term though...

Just an update. I was able to go to a local junkyard and pick the wheel and motor up for 15.00 got home and put everything back together and bam good cold quiet air. So with the money left over from the other blower motor I got my windows blacked out.
