2006 Explorer EB V6 4x4
After driving several 2006 Eddie B I'm V6 flavor. I found this one. Miles are at 184k. 4x4 works, all else works. Engine and trans feel good.

Buy or walk? Miles scare me a bit.

Carfax has 2 owners. 1 err end accident.
Car looks clean and drives straight.

NVM... bought it....
Got it up on a lift in the shop, all dry on the bottom, decided to take it.

Only draw backs are/were:
Rear sway link broken
Front right inner tie-rod loose
Front sway bar bushings worn
All Tires are crap
Rotors shot,
Brake pads done.

So, decided to replace all four sway links.
Tie rod replaced and alignment done on the spot.
Oil changed.
Ordered a full replacement kit with slotted/drilled rotors and all pads.
Will order tires tomorrow.

Car make not a sound now in terms of suspension, smooth. Now I'll start browsing and posting questions.

On those rotors go with only slotted. If you go with a drilled+slotted you won't gain anything from it except a high probability of rotor cracking if it is not a high end drilled+slotted rotor and the pads will stay too cold in the winter unless you ride them all the time. Honestly the only thing that needs a drilled+slotted rotor anymore is an all out circuit racer and even then most racers go with just a high end standard rotor anymore with special heat treating to keep it from warping because they are just that good anymore.

Damn. Already ordered.....
Maybe I'll change them out later on.
On another note, a freaking city street sign fell on the car today while parked. So pissed off, went from spotless to cracked windshield, and some deep scratches In one day.
