bw4410/4411 t-case ?

ok i have two quick questions...

first ..is there anyway possible to take the 4411 4wd t case from a 3rd gen and make it a manual shifting case(instead of electric) . basically is there anyway to engage it w/o the electronics?

second..are the 4410 and 4410 interchangeable by any chance?

i ask this bc i was thinking if they were you could convert a 3rd gen awd to a 3rd gen 4wd

No, and no. The t-case lockup is electronically controlled. Think AC compressor clutch and you'll kind of have the general idea of how it works. As for the swap, there's no way to make an AWD case a manual... they just don't work that way....

yeah i knew you cant lock/unlock a awd case i just didn't know about putting in a 4wd case in its place..

but yeah now that i think about it it makes sense
